In that round, Johnson shot an 85 with four birdies and an eagle. The sophomore placed fourth at the South sectionals with a 77, then finished ninth at the State championships. She took fifth at the State championship with a 76. A two-time Bay State Conference medalist, Imai finished second at the North/Central/West sectionals with a 75. The sophomore standout was undefeated during the regular season in helping Brookline to an 11-2 match record. She was the MVP of the boys team in the fall. A week later, she finished in the top 12 at the MIAA state championships. The freshman tied for eighth at the North/Central/West sectional, shooting a 78. A member of the National Honor Society, Grogan is president of Best Buddies as well as Treasurer of Key Club. Grogan was the South sectional champion and finished second at the MIAA state championships. An honors student with an impressive 4.75 GPA, Costello ranks among the top 20 in her class.Ī three-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic, the junior went undefeated in match play for the third consecutive season and also three-peated as Cape and Islands champion. Capilli placed fourth at the South sectionals with an 81, qualifying for the States. The sophomore was 13-0 in match play throughout the season. A high honors student, Brozena’s long term goal is to compete in college. A two-time National High School Championship qualifier, Brozena won the Indian Ridge Women’s Club Champion two years in a row. At the MIAA State championship, she shot a 1-under-par 72 to capture the title. Brozena was the CAL Kinney Division Player of the Year. The sophomore won the Cape Ann League Open with a 2-over-par 74. Abramson is the class president and a member of the National Honor Society as well as the Science/Math Honor Society. 1 golfer on the boys team in the fall, Abramson was third at the Div. She was the co-medalist at the South sectionals with a 75, then took a second at the State championship a week later, shooting a 75 in the process. The junior turned in another outstanding season for the Blue Knights.
